Buy, rent or try it first in Hoogwoud, the Netherlands

LCM Offroad is based at Gouwe 15 in Hoogwoud, North Holland, under an hour north of Amsterdam. Come and try the tent by appointment, Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00. Call or message +31 6 28075883 and the Oasis will be open when you arrive.

Who is the LCM Oasis for?

For anyone who wants room. At 152 cm the Oasis is the widest of our three models and has a side opening, so your tailgate stays clear and you can still get to your gear in the evening. Big enough for 2 to 3 people, and at 11.5 cm the lowest when closed. Handy on an estate car or van where the boot has to stay reachable at night.

Will the Oasis fit my car?

That depends on your car's roof load and your roof racks, not on the tent alone. Count the weight of the tent (66 kg) plus 7 kg for a set of roof bars, so you need at least 73 kg of dynamic roof load. Our roof load check gives a first estimate based on manufacturer figures for over 300 car models, without guarantee: what your owner's manual or manufacturer says always takes precedence. What's in the box?

The tent with built-in mattress, the telescopic ladder (2.3 m, up to 150 kg), the mounting hardware and the manual. Roof racks are not included: you choose those to suit your car, and they must carry the weight of the tent plus the people in it.

Mounting, use and care

The tent clamps onto two roof racks with brackets; the Allen key is in the box. Two people can manage it easily, and if you collect in Hoogwoud we do it together. On the road: 120 km/h maximum, never open or close while driving, and one person on the ladder at a time. Never store the tent wet: let it dry open at home first. Mould from wet storage is not covered by the warranty. No open fire, heaters or cooking stoves in or near the tent.

Can I see the Oasis before I buy?
Yes, by appointment in Hoogwoud. Call or message us and it will be ready for you to try.

Can I rent a rooftop tent?
Yes. Our rental tent is the LCM Dune, from €210 for a three-night weekend, bookable online with a 25% deposit. We do not rent out the Oasis itself. Buy afterwards and the full rent comes off the price. Not part of it, all of it. Current rates are on the rental page.

What is the delivery time?
Early November 2026 (pre-order); as soon as the shipment is in, we plan delivery or collection in Hoogwoud with you.

What about the warranty?
2 years. Warranty claims go through LCM Offroad in Hoogwoud, not the manufacturer. Send your proof of purchase plus photos and a video of the damage and we take it from there.
